Virtual Care

Virtual care provides a convenient way for you to communicate with your health care provider. The VCHC uses email, telephone and video technology to provide virtual care. We are taking every measure we can, to ensure secure communication. Please be aware of the risks when communicating your personal health information or questions about your health on a digital platform.

Your Virtual Appointment

  • Always ensure you are in a private setting and that the care provider will not be interrupted by others; it is best to plan ahead for your appointment. 
  • Use a secure network when communicating with your VCHC provider during your appointments and/or follow-ups.

In some cases, the VCHC might ask you to book an in-person assessment, visit a hospital or other health care facilities.

For your safety, please do not come to the VCHC, unless instructed to by VCHC staff.

We ask that visitors do not accompany clients to their appointments, unless it is deemed absolutely essential (e.g. for interpretation support, etc.). If you require assistance attending your appointment, please call 905-303-8490 Ext. 1 for assistance.
